Parkburn Appoints New Engineering Design Manager

Parkburn Precision Handling Systems, a specialist UK engineering company providing onshore and offshore handling systems, has appointed Peter Hall as Design Engineering Manager.

Peter joins us from Schade Lagertechnik UK (part of the Aumund group) where he was Engineering Manager. Peter has over 20 years of experience in Design Engineering and Engineering Management roles that are directly relevant to his Parkburn role.

As Engineering Design Manager and a member of the senior management team, Peter will assume leadership of engineering activities at Parkburn’s Telford site. This includes research and development, system design, mechanical & hydraulic engineering, system integration, test and certification activities.

In the short period of time since joining Parkburn, Peter has already made important contributions to Parkburn’s cable engines, pipe tensioners, umbilical launch and recovery systems and Parkburn’s innovative deep water capstan.
